General Provisions

  • Abstracts must be submitted via the online system on the official website of the Congress. Submissions sent by email will not be considered.
  • Submission requires an author account. It is recommended that authors use the same account and email address for both abstract submission and subsequent congress registration.
  • Payment of the registration fee is not required at the abstract submission stage. Once a submission has been accepted, the presenting author must register and pay for participation by the deadline specified in the acceptance letter.
  • The submitting author is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the submission, for informing co-authors, and for compliance with these requirements.

Acceptable Categories of Work

Completed scientific or practice-based submissions of the following types will be considered:

Original quantitative or qualitative research
A clinical case or case series with demonstrated scientific value
A prevention, public health or rehabilitation programme
An educational, organisational, digital or interagency project with evaluated outcomes

Scientific Tracks

The author must select one primary topic. The Scientific Committee may reassign the abstract to a different thematic session when developing the programme.

  • If a submission does not fit the listed subtopics, the author should select "Other" and briefly explain how it relates to the aims of the congress.

Scientific and Editorial Requirements

  1. Quantitative studies must state the sample size, specific numerical results, and, where applicable, measures of statistical uncertainty.
  2. Qualitative studies must present specific themes, categories or other findings from the analysis; general statements without results are not sufficient.
  3. Standard abbreviations are permitted. Specialised abbreviations must be defined at first use.
  4. Medicines must be referred to by their international non-proprietary name, written in lower case. Trade names should be used only where scientifically necessary.
  5. Conclusions must not go beyond the results presented.
  6. A separate reference list, footnotes, tables, figures and images are not accepted at the abstract submission stage. A brief in-text citation is permitted only where necessary and is included within the word limit.
  7. The text must not contain information that could identify patients or study participants.

Word count: The online system's word counter will be used as the final measure of abstract length.

Ethics, Originality and Declarations

  • Originality: the abstract must not duplicate previously published or presented material.
  • Impermissible duplication: a single study should not be artificially divided into multiple submissions; abstracts that substantially overlap may be rejected.
  • Ethical approval: for studies involving human or animal subjects, compliance with applicable ethical standards, approval by the relevant ethics committee, and informed consent (where required) must be stated.
  • Conflicts of interest: potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed for each author; funding sources must be disclosed, or their absence stated.
  • Third-party rights: the submitting author confirms that the submission does not infringe copyright, confidentiality or any other third-party rights.
  • Publication: submission grants the organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to publish the accepted text in the programme, abstract book, website and other congress materials, with authorship retained.
  • Personal data: the submitting author confirms consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of organising the congress and notifying co-authors.

Length, Language and Title

  • Length: no more than 250 words. The title, author details, affiliations and automatically generated section headings are not included in the word limit.
  • Language: English. The title, main text and institutional details must be provided in English or in official Latin transliteration.
  • Title: no more than 20 words and no more than 250 characters including spaces. It must be precise, informative, and must not contain authors' names, institution names or promotional wording.

Registration, Publication and Presentation

  1. The presenting author of an accepted submission must register and pay for participation by the deadline specified in the acceptance letter. Otherwise, the work may be excluded from the programme.
  2. Accepted abstracts will be published in the version confirmed by the author, following an editorial and technical review by the organisers.
  3. The organisers reserve the right to correct obvious typographical errors and standardise formatting without altering the scientific content.
  4. The author must notify the organisers in advance if the work needs to be withdrawn or if the presenting author is unable to attend.

Submission Procedure

  1. Personal Account
    Log in to an existing profile or create a new one.
  2. Contact details
    Verify your profile and confirm consent to data processing.
  3. Declaration
    Confirm originality, co-author consent and compliance with the rules.
  4. Classification
    Enter the title, select the topic and preferred format.
  5. Authors
    Add all authors, their roles, affiliations, conflicts of interest and funding sources.
  6. Text
    Complete the five sections of the abstract and check the word count.
  7. Preview
    Correct any errors, save as a draft, or submit the final version

Authors and Affiliations

  1. For each author, the following must be provided: given name and surname in Latin script, email address, institution, department, city and country.
  2. Each author must have at least one affiliation. The order of authors must be confirmed before final submission.
  3. The submission must separately indicate the submitting author, the corresponding author and the presenting author. One person may hold more than one of these roles.
  4. Only individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the work and approved the final text may be included as authors.
  5. The submitting author is responsible for obtaining the consent of all co-authors to the submission and to possible publication of the abstract.
  6. After the submission deadline, changes to the author list or author order will be permitted only in exceptional cases, upon request to the support service and with the written consent of all authors.

Committee decision: the author's preference will be taken into account but is not guaranteed. The Scientific Committee determines the final format and reserves the right to reassign the thematic session.

Oral Communication and e-Poster Presentation require the in-person attendance of the presenting author, unless otherwise stated in the acceptance notification.

e-Poster requirements: Authors of accepted e-posters will receive separate technical guidelines specifying the template, permitted file format, size, orientation, submission deadline and upload method.

Draft and Final Submission

  1. A draft may be saved and edited until the submission deadline. Drafts are not sent for scientific review.
  2. A submission is considered complete only once the "Final Submission" command has been selected and an abstract ID has been issued.
  3. Following final submission, the system will send a confirmation email to the corresponding author.
  4. Before the deadline, the author may reopen the submission, make changes, and re-confirm the final version. After the deadline, no substantive changes will be accepted.
  5. If no confirmation is received, the author should check the submission status in their personal account and contact the support service before the submission deadline.

Session timeout: The system may end the session after a period of inactivity. Authors are advised to save their drafts regularly.

Review and Decision

The Scientific Committee evaluates the following:

  1. Relevance to the congress themes
  2. Originality and scientific or practical significance
  3. Soundness of methods and reliability of results
  4. Ethical acceptability
  5. Clarity of presentation and compliance with technical requirements
