Arrival to Uzbekistan

Visa for Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan offers a visa-free entry regime for citizens of 90 countries, making it a convenient and accessible destination for international participants. Visa-free stays range from 10 to 60 days, depending on nationality, with citizens of several neighbouring countries able to enter without a time limit. The visa-free regime applies regardless of the purpose of travel, subject to the applicable conditions.

Airport Transfer

We recommend downloading the YandexGo, WB Taxi or Taxi OK app. Payment is available both via a linked card in the app and in cash. Taxi fares in Uzbekistan are low. The approximate travel time from the airport to the center of Tashkent is 20-30 minutes.

If you are unable to download the YandexGo, WB Taxi or Taxi OK apps in your country, we recommend doing so upon arrival in Tashkent by purchasing a local SIM card at the airport.

Mobile Network

We recommend purchasing a SIM card from a local mobile operator immediately upon arrival at Tashkent Airport, in the baggage claim area. Mobile operators in Uzbekistan offer affordable tourist packages valid for one month, which include a generous amount of internet data. If needed, you can also activate an eSIM after purchasing a SIM card.

Currency Exchange

You can exchange US dollars and euros at a favorable rate at Tashkent Airport, in the baggage claim area. Visa and MasterCard are accepted at most places in Tashkent; however, cash payment may be required in some locations, such as markets. Please note that Russian and Belarusian bank cards are not accepted in Uzbekistan.
